Some doubt as to whether this is in the right place and whether it's genuine, but I can assure it is!
I guess you all know that Patrick’s doing a ‘solo tour’ as follows:
Wed 21-Nov Brighton St George Thurs 22-Nov Exeter Phoenix Fri 23-Nov Bristol Trinity Theatre
Sun 25-Nov Manchester Lowry Mon 26-Nov Leicester Y Theatre Tues 27-Nov Sheffield Memorial Hall
Thurs 29-Nov Glasgow Oran Mor Fri 30-Nov Middlesborough MIMA
Patrick’s manager has invited me to build a street team starting with helping on this tour.
So, if you’re up for helping out on merchandise and signing folk up to the ever-growing mailing list, and would welcome free entry for you and a friend (aka assistant) plus possible a free tee shirt, email me on patrickwolfstreetteam@fsmail.net with your full name, age (at some venues, age restrictions apply) and location, together with show on this tour you can help at.
I’ll put all the names in a hat (I’m assured you lot are ‘mad for it’ and I’ll get loads!) and pick folks by the end of next week, so keep checking for my mailouts please.
I will be doing one of these dates myself, but I won’t say which one as yet, cos then it might put people off applying to join the team, and there will be much more opportunities to help in the future. And don’t limit yourself if you’re oversees either, we may be asking for the same kind of help when Patrick returns to finish conquering the world (muhahahaha…)
*braces himself for massive response*
Thanks
Paul Duffy xxx

Hmm, I'm tempted, it could be kinda fun. ...but I've already got tickets for bristol, so i don't need any more, can I have a backstage pass please?

ha that was what i was going to suggest if you've already got tickets there's no point because it puts you to the back of the que anyway as you have to do your job when people are already lining up though if there's backstage passes involved then i'll be interested...

No backstage passes I'm afraid.
But yes sign up from all over the globe, we'll look to do something similar when Patrick's in your neck of the woods

Would we be allowed to sign up if we're from Canada even though he's probably not going to be touring (in Canada) for awhile?

Well, I have it on good authority that you UK based folks would be more up for it than the the world 'Up For It' champion, on National 'Up For It' day, armed with an electronic 'Up For It' machine (copyright Matt Groenig).
Be great to hear from folk planning to go to the shoes (Exeter, Bristol, Manchester and Glasgow in particular) who would love to get involved...go on, we don't bite!

hmmmm I do a lot of streetteaming through Traffic, sometimes for bands I dont even particulary like... I'm quite good in getting people sing up and I love patrick's music. But I've already got tickets for Brighton so I dont want to take away the opportunity from someone who is in a more desperate situation.

I was just wondering if you've chosen the people for the other gigs and have e-mailed them about it yet? Because if I wasn't lucky enough to be selected, there are some tickets on ebay I've been eyeing up...
