haha....we decided it was our mission that night to pollute the earth with three cans of hairspray. I don't think we got through all three cans, but, you know, etc.... And then after the show Patrick was like "oh, I'm actually trying to find a better way to get it to stay ... vaseline seems to work well" or something. LOL. You won't see us smearing vaseline all over ourselves next time, I don't think. We'd probably get even weirder looks by passers-by than we did. Stephen was so glittery.

You never go to a Patrick Wolf show with subtle glitter on! We tried the vaseline thing at the El Mo, you get more control but it doesn't stay on for a long time. And there are no more CFCs in hairspray

Patrick loves us and mentioned us on his blog "Anyways, the photo here was taken in Toronto a good hour or so before I came onstage by one of my band. Not only did the front row bring maracas and bells to play along with the show, they also brought streamers, bubble blowers and glitter canons for the encore. The show felt like a New Year’s celebration. It was Saturday night so me any my band threw in a version of Whigfield’s Saturday Night for extra joy." photo he was talking about

Exploding confetti, glitter cannons....potato, potahto.
I like how he added they sang Saturday Night "for extra joy."
;D
p.s. That pole is really disgusting and I am going to send a letter to Lee's and tell them that they are crazy insane for having that there, someone is going to catch a disease. And I kept leaning on it without thinking! haha

I know, it is very difficult to choreograph special effects for a show you don't know the setlist for. I think we did a very good job at figuring out what to expect!
...we are going to have to up the ante in London.
