I think so too, lots of people had to leave a bit early cos of the train
on another note, are there any video editing prodigies here? I could do with some help.
I got Bluebells, The Magic Position, The Days and River ok, but Augustine and Peacock Skys need to be rotated.... also his dramatic entry is in 2 bits (I couldnt zoom) so needs to be merged in a fairly seamless way if possible and also rotated...
so yeah I need someone ace. they all pretty big files, just over 100M and in .mov

Did anyone get to meet Patrick after the show? I wasn't sure whether it would be possible, but he does seem to have some gigs where he really makes an effort to meet fans afterwards- I'm thinking of all the photos there have been of him with fans in America and Japan etc... You can sort of tell in those photos that they are indoors and it looks quite organised, but in this country seems to be more of a 'lurking about in back alleys' situation!! I spoke briefly to his tour manager at the end and he said he didn't think it would be poss to meet him because Patrick had his family all there last night (infact I think I was sat next to his mum and dad!!) and Patrick seemed very tired too. Bless him. Amazing gig though. So, just wondering if anyone had any tips on the best way to meet him at future gigs (I'm going to Shepherd's Bush too). Ta very much. Despite everything last night's gig was so beautiful and atmospheric. I love him even more than I did before!!

It's much more polite to ask Stuart if he thinks Patrick will want to chat with the fans because sometimes Patrick is too tired, but we're thankful that he does make an effort to chat with us Torontonians. A few of us in Toronto are going to Shepherd's Bush and we figure we'd just wait outside and hope that he would want to chat, but then I doubt that he would make an appearance because the amount of fans who want to talk to him seems to be higher in London.

Yeah....Toronto like 10/250 people waited to meet him....if the same percent want to in London that would be like 80-100 people.

The gig was amazing!
Dramatic entrance avec violin from the back of the church. I was nice to hear the songs interpreted in a slightly different way to usual. I was sat cross legged on the floor right in front. Twas a bit intimidating as he seems to make eye contact/stare a people quite a bit. Also my knees and arse were aching sooooo much! But it was sooooo worth it!
He said Bton was like a second home to him and that he went back to cornwall this year for inspiration but he didnt find it there. He mentioned the gig in London on monday (his first i a while) and said he felt it had changed and that he loves costal places/may relocate etc but the relocation bit wasnt very serious. Its not like he said 'I am moving to the coast' just that he seemed a bit dishartened by London atm etc.
The clapping to tmp was hillarious!! And I loved him all silver in the encore (which explained the long wait for him to come back! lol! Did he play souvineers in the end? I cant remember. He said he was going to. Dev was cool as well. If you are going to a gig and he is supporting make sure you get the free Patrick Wolf ep. I like his cover on that tis good!
Sorry It wasn't more of a blow by blow kind of explanation but twas a long gig! Hopefully there will be lots of videos and pics from other people!
