For gods sake ha, out of all the things to be critical of Patrick for, playing more gigs for his fans? This is coming from the king of criticizing Patrick. I don't get Patrick fandom mentality at all sometimes. Willing to make endless excuses for throwing dangerous objects at his fans, beating his drummer around the head and pretending to quit music cos he doesn't like a few comments on his message board.. but adding another gig so more people get to see him? OH MY GOD now you've just gone TOO FAR Patrick. Weirdos. OMGGGeeezz This is the first time I've agreed with you on something Josh, well something Patrick related. Gold star.

This is another chance for me to feel I don't have to money to see grand finales, oh. But note I'm not mad about it, 'kay sillies? Agreed Josh-sir.

I have to say that I sort of understand the anger and sort of disappointment that people feel, since I felt a bit rageman myself. On the other hand, it's real sweet that our favourite musician (or at least one we really friggin' like) is getting enough attention to have two last gigs, like good old Arab Strap did. Apart from this being just two last gigs of THIS TOUR. Good news is I might be able to go. YAR.

i'm a bit on the fence about this one. i agree with josh, but i'd actually rather go to the second one because there probably won't be as many people and it might be more 'intimate', but the downside is if he's got a huge show the night before, his energy might be all drained and his voice strained.
but hey, it's not like i can actually come back and say 'oh it was great', i've got exams and i'm across the ocean, dammit

I can understand people may be feeling a bit jipped because they thought they were going to the "grand finale", but I think we all need to get over our selfish disappointments and focus on the positives in this situation - there is enough demand for an entire extra gig! Patrick's doing this for his fans, wanting to spread the love and make sure as little people miss out as possible! How can we fault that? We should be over the moon, not just because he is doing this, but because he can.

Have changed my mind. Am now HAPPEE for pw. Sudden change of mind due to a) good mood and b) realisation that it's a patrickw performance and hardly anything can go wrong AND ALSO c) WOO EXCITEMENT.

also, seeing as we've all arranged a meetup and SUPERFUNTIMES for the 20th, it's worth noting that the 20th will still have patrick PLUS our superfuntimes arrangements and thus, for us anyway, will be the better of the two nights good comany makes a good night, ja? and having thought about other tragedies in the world, patrick wolf having 2 grand finales is one of the lessers

oh yes ofcourse there are a lot of worse things in the world, mind that. however, in my little world, this really sucks, cause if I had known, I would have booked a flight a day later, since the flight is expensive weither I stay 1 or 2 nights. grumble

I wish I could afford to fly over to London... I guess being an unemployed Year 12 student on the other side of the world is kind of a set back. I do love London though, I hope to live there once I a) graduate and b) can afford it.

I'm unemployed too this year, but I still have a credit card from the time I did have a job. and therefor I can afford doing extremely expensive things like this.(one day this huge debt has to be payed of though....) Mr Wolf has cost me a looooot of money over the years...but it is worth it!

I'm so happy about this show! But only if I can get tickets again! If not, I'll still be outside partying it up prior exhausted from the night before. Although this does mean one less shopping day in London. Ho hum. What is a girl to do? ...apparently Patrick Wolf > shopping.
