I think you actually captured us perfectly. Your understanding of us is something we only wish our parents had. Ha. Roll on the next chapter. "I am your father Sophie.." ha perhaps that could be the big twist at the end of all this from Joshua? Nah no, you've actually just given me a top notch plot idea though..

Are you considering this as a career option, Josh? There will never be enough erotica writers in the world.

I would welcome someone else writing part two and the subsequent parts as long as they make it good, it could be like the Wolfboard pass the story, oh go on, do play with me!
I think someone with photo shop skillzzz should make a DVD cover as well, that would rock the microphone.

i wouldn't mind having a go (at writing it). If nobody objects that is? Of my obvious noobishness and the fact that i know little next to nothing about the people in the story, other then the fact that they all have rather annoyingly good hair.
I'd like a crack at it

oohh feel free youhippy, I would be very interested to say a naif perspective on all of this. I think my masterful writing (erm bar the rather glaring punctuation errors I will try and clean up now) gives you a good idea of the core characters and how they respond to each other, ha. PS. Maybe a cameo from Writing on her back girl with the fantastic bottom wouldn't go a miss Some character synopsis's for you. Sophie- Stylish, inventive, creative, compassionate, heroic with a big heart, makes a lot of art references. Meryl- Witty in a Wilde/Stephen Fry sort of way, raises her eyebrows at things a lot, fundamentally a genius. Joshua- Extremely eccentric, and somewhat lecherous in a comic way, but the comedy should under-pin a real mystery and pathos. Sibz- Eccentric, loud, "sassy", and most importantly FUN her role at FTW and the grand scheme of things maybe more that it seems. Jose Mutiny- A cartoon pantomime villain in essence , Dr Evil goes mobster. Deeply misogynistic being "beaten by girls" troubles him profoundly.

Josh, loved it so much. I'm in it as a possibly not dead guy!
Also, try more spaces between sentences, I am a lazy reader.

That took a ridiculously long time to write, i blame watching clueless. My apologies if its a bit crap and if it doesn't quite tie in with what you were thinking originally Josh, feel free to ignore it completely if you don't like it
Penrose and trussler Incorporated Part Two
“Now, what do you mean Nils isn’t dead?” demanded Sophie in a tight whisper arms crossed, the sharp planes of her face looking foreboding in the dim light.
It was the early hours of the morning; dawn just creeping over the horizon and Sophie was standing like a sentinel, legs akimbo in Meryls doorway, while Meryl lay seemingly unconscious from drink and grief within. The mere mention of Nil’s name had driven her crazy; she had launched herself at Josh like a wild cat it had taken both Sophie And a slightly unsteady Sibz, to drag her off of Josh who was lying on his back trying in vain to keep the young woman at bay with his umbrella. Once they had her off she began bawling hysterically until Sibz, grumbling, shoved a bottle of whiskey in her mouth. She had drunk the lot in one go, as well as half the bottle of gin that Sibz had kept hidden down the front of her dress “just in case”, before passing out.
Sir Joshua had ridden with them to Meryl’s apartment, though he kept to the other side of the limo as though fearing she would wake up and attack him again. He had dismissed his chauffeur once he and Sophie had got Meryl was safely into her bed.
Sophie had to admire the mans lechery, he had a swollen lip and the beginnings of a black eye, and was walking like someone’s grandfather, yet he had still stopped on the stairs to chat to some young nothing, wearing paint where her clothes should have been. One of the next doors models by the looks of it. He had the girl’s number pocketed before she had even begun to close the door.
“Could I get some Ice for this eye first?” he asked smiling brightly, though the bruising Sophie chucked him a bag of cold peas from Meryl’s freezer after some rummaging, which he accepted gratefully before continuing.
“I have reason to believe, that is I have my suspicions. That your Nils is still alive”
“No, that’s not what you said” Meryl who was now sitting on the edge of her bed, Despite the mascara tracks and ruffled hair, she appeared calm as though all the anger had leaked out of her. “You said it as though it was a fact, you said it like you knew for sure” Standing up Meryl smoothing down her suit she walked across the room to look up at Joshua who was trying to back away from the intensity of the young woman’s eyes. To no avail it seemed.
“What do you know Mr Wynne?” she said raising her eyebrow “What is it you know, and why exactly do you need are help? A man with you wealth, you could get anyone’s help, Why come to us? And why use Nils death to get our attention?”
“Dear lady we seem to have got our wires crossed, oh I, could you? Just? Back a bit? Feeling a bit..” Meryl stepped back obliging while Josh loosened his tie and collapsed back onto the love seat.
“I have every reason to believe your friend is alive Ms Trussler, while I lack the sort of proof that would stand up in a court of law I still have my suspicions and they’re usually right. I believe your friends disappearance-“ Another cocked eyebrow from Meryl “- Is in someway connected to Mr Mutiny and his gargoyles, but not for the reasons you think, It wasn’t because of you that Nils disappeared, true your fame probably threw him into the limelight a little sooner then even he expected, but it is for an entirely different reason that he went missing”
“That’s Bullshit!” Cried Sophie “I haven’t heard anything this ridiculous since finding out Tracy Emin got short listed for the Turner prize! Nils never did anything that would attract that kind of attention! This sick little bastards just pulling up the past for kicks, to torment us!"
Meryl was silent for a moment studying Joshua who flinched away from her glance. “I get what you saying Sophie, I do, but this is Nils and if there’s the smallest chance…” Turning back to a rather nervous, and rather rumbled Joshua she motioned for him to continue”
“I believe that Nils may have attracted the attention of some very powerful people, people with whom Mr Mutiny is connected with. People whom the FTW institute have been trying for years to stop. Part of an international Ring of Crime and Corruption that spans centuries, I think your friend Nils went into hiding, I think he faked his own death to ensure that you Miss Trussler and you Miss Penrose would not go looking for him, Had anyone the slightest suspicion regarding his death even his closest friends then you both would have been in incredible danger. They need your friend to aid them, and they’ll do anything to make sure that he does.”
“How do you mean? How could Nils help them?” Asked Sophie walking slowly to stand by Meryl’s side the look of suspicion having left her face being replaced by dawning apprehension.
Joshua looked up at them both, sympathy shining out of his dark eyes, a look of utmost seriousness on his slightly swollen face. “Magic Miss Penrose, I believe that they wanted Nils magical assistance, when he wouldn’t agree to help them, they took him by force.
Meryl shook her head slowly in disbelief “Now I know your lying” she said “I’m a woman of science Mr Wynne, I don’t believe in magic, I never have, and I never will” she smiled ruefully “It’s a nice story Mr Wynne, maybe you could write it down and mail it to me one day, it’d make for good bedtime reading.”
“Miss Trussler” He said leaning forward suddenly “You cannot entirely deny the existence of magic, if you do how can you possibly explain what happened to you this evening or should I say yesterday evening” he said glancing over at the large bay window which was now full of soft pink light.
Sophie shot Joshua a look before turning to Meryl and speaking “As much as I hate to admit it he may have a point, how else could that have happened? The question is” at this she looked at Josh again “Magic or no magic, who did that last night, because I certainly didn’t and neither did Meryl.”
“Ahh excellent question Miss Penrose, as quick minded as ever” he said standing up and walking over to the window in quick jerky long strides “I think that what happened tonight was the result of Mr Nils magic, I believe that before he went into hiding from the Mutiny Family he cast a protective spell on you both, a parting gift that would only surface in times of great need. I admit I had my doubts at first, but after last nights events I am certain now more then ever, I am certain as well that your friend is indeed still alive, for had he died, then well, that magic would never had worked and you, well you wouldn’t be standing here right now” he said with that high nervous high pitched giggle.
“The problem is” he continued “that just as the events of last night were evidence enough for me, so to would they be for the Mutiny family, and Jose himself, doubtless he has resumed the hunt for your dear friend, doubtless also he will be sending someone on his way for you two, to use as bait maybe, or just to be rid of you both, its no lose to him to kill the both of you. The two of you alone have caused more trouble for the infamous Jose Mutiny then I think anyone else has ever dared. I think you’ll find out, if you didn’t know all ready that Mr Mutiny does not take defeat well.” He peered intently out of the window for a moment longer “Hmm and yes that would appear to be his goons now, come madams lets away before things really get ugly, unlike the two of you I have no fancy magic to protect me. Pity we couldn’t stay longer, that neighbour of yours really does have a sublime bottom.” He said making his way across the room and with rather jerky movements trying to usher the two women out the door. “I though I might grab some fresh clothes first” said Meryl looking down at her rumbled cotton suit “Fear not I shall get hold of some clothes for you, but we must leave now!” said Joshua his voice almost panicked as her yet again made motions towards the door indicating that Meryl should go before him. Meryl let out a laugh like the crack of a whip “Darling, I’d sooner let them catch me then wear anything you’d pick out!” With that she ducked under his arm and into the bedroom.

“Do you think we can trust him? Do you think he’s telling the truth?” Sophie asked before taking another sip of tea out of the tiny china cup, she winced slightly at the strong taste of cognac mixed in with the earl grey. She had her suspicions regarding who made the tea in this place.
They were sitting in the parlour of a guest room at Joshua’s oversized mansion, Meryl had demanded access to a shower, any shower after Joshua had made them run down ten flights of stairs and then hide in a large dumpster while he checked that the coast was clear.
Meryl was buttoning up her dress; her brown hair was still wet and formed an opaque veil in front of her face as she spoke.
“After the night I’ve had you’d think I’d be convinced but I’m not sure, I always guessed that Nils was into some pretty strange stuff, but I never questioned it, that was just Nils, you know? The thing is, if he’s telling the truth why would Nils…” she trailed off
“I know” said Sophie shifting on her chair slightly, unlike Meryl she had to suffer the indignation of borrowing clothes from Joshua, yet another frilly cream shirt that was so long it reached nearly to her knees, forming a sort of mini dress, last night boots and a thick cardigan and a belt to cinch in the dress and she felt almost decent. Almost. “If Nils did fake his death, why wouldn’t he tell us, leave us some note? And why make it seem like his death was because of us? That’s the thing I really don’t get. Nils knows us both well enough to know a thing like that would kill us.”
There was a quite knock on the door and then Sibz entered without waiting for permission her hair as dazzlingly pink as it had been yesterday. She took two quick strides into the room picked up the teapot of earl grey and cognac and took too long large gulps.
“Ahhh, I needed that. He drives me mad! I swear that man will be the death of me!” she exclaimed loudly to the room in general.
Meryl raised an eyebrow and shot Sophie a look, Sophie grinned back “Can we help you Sibz?” she asked trying to keep the laughter out of her voice, this place could not be real. “What? Oh!” exclaimed Sibz as though only just becoming aware of their presence. “Yes! Actually there is! Uh Sir Joshua asked me to cordially invite the both of you to a very private party in which you are to be formally introduced to the members of the FTW institute… There currently waiting downstairs, I’m to bring you to them now.” And with that she went back to guzzling tea. Sophie shot Meryl a look and was surprised to see her own apprehension mirrored in her friend’s eyes.

Thank you youhippy! Very nicely written. Could have done with jamming an action sequence in there though.. you know what viewers attention spans are like these days.. ha.
But yes, you are the Moffat to my RTD, well done.
Who's up for part 3?
Seriously don't worry about any "grand plot scheme" I might have in mind, write what you want in your own style.
