Right, so I'm in this absolutely dreadful summer class in which there is a 7-minute oral report due.. Err.. Tomorrow. Yes, bad Chloe, I know. So, if you could answer a few questions for me it would be VERY AWESOME. You can be as honest, as funny, as long-winded as you like. Please.
1. What would you do to suceed in highschool?
2. What do you regret about highschool?
3. How did you handle the stress?
4. What should I avoid?
Annnnnd Thank you so, so very much.

1. I studied and did my work most of the time. Also, I became friends with teachers so if I couldn't get something done on time I was usually able to have a reasonable break. This doesn't mean I didn't work hard, I DID!
2. I think maybe I took some things too seriously .: making some things a lot less fun.
3. I stopped doing homework in grade 12 and spent time reading/internet/television. Last minute things still worked for me. This doesn't really sound like it would work, but apparently it did.
4. Perms, kilts in the wind, having a locker near a good looking guy who sprays WAY too much cologne when you are standing within a 10 ft radius.

1. What would you do to suceed in highschool? Not a whole damn lot. I graduated with a 3.91 gpa, though. ( out of 4, AND SO, SO CLOSE TO THE TOP TEN, I THINK I WAS LIKE.. 14, AND I DIDN'T GET TO SIT IN THE FRONT ROW AT GRADUATION. BASTARDS. ) I may have done my homework.. sometimes. I dont' remember doing a whole lot of it, but it always seemed to get done. Fancy that. 2. What do you regret about highschool?Hahahaha. Uhm. Most of my friends were not really my friends. (Apart from my best friend, mind.) And they always had other people they would rather talk to more, and I sort of felt shunted off to the side most of the time. Also, I was RIDICULOUSLY shy in high school. Painfully so, almost. It was dreadful. I wish I could have been more outgoing. I still have that problem, but slightly less now. 3. How did you handle the stress?I DIDN'T. Cut to the morning of my first day of senior year. I had been feeling anxious and nervous about it for a few weeks. And then, I was getting ready, and I sat down in a chair in our living room, and I just.. burst into tears, and hyperventilating, and I couldn't move, I couldn't do anything but cry. My sister was supposed to be driving me to school, but I was absolutely terrified of moving. She had to call my mom to come home from work. I missed the first five days of senior year. And for the rest of the year, I lived in constant fear of this happening again. Looking back, though... Apart from that incident, High School was not that stressful. I don't know. I don't exactly have the most fond memories of it, but it wasn't terrible. 4. What should I avoid?..Drugs and alcohol?

i'm cheating. i'm still in high school. 1. What Would you do to suceed in high school? Just do your work. Do your best on it, and don't think about it too much. Overthinking makes things make less sense. This is a problem of mine.
2. What do you regret about highschool? Going to the high school that my friends didn't go to just to be with a boy. And only hanging out with said boy in freshman year. Regret not being as outgoing with some people that I would have loved to have been friends with.
3. How did you handle the stress? I tend to ignore it. Exercise. Stuff like that. Every omce in a while just take time alone.
4. What should I avoid? Guys who just want to hook up and brag about it the next day. Friends that aren't real friends. Boring parties. Avoid skipping out on important social activities.

1. What would you do to succeed in highschool?
Do my work on time. Sometimes I'd be doing it the day of, but as long as it gets in on time, you should get a decent grade on most minor assignments. (This depends on the teacher, of course.) Just do the work and you'll get by. Some effort may or may not be required.
2. What do you regret about highschool?
Nothing, really. I hated it, but I put my head down and got through it in the top third of my class. I don't miss it at all.
3. How did you handle the stress?
Complaining about it on LiveJournal, art, collecting Tarot cards, but mostly bottling it up.
4. What should I avoid?
The internet.

1. What would you do to suceed in highschool? doing work often enough so that when i didn't do it, people would believe i'd "forgotten it ". the art of believable lies was quite important when it came to this. finding some reliable friends
2. What do you regret about highschool? errm...errm,..
i'm still there right now but breaking up with my old friends? well i don't know, it needed to be done so i don't regret that. i regret talking about them behind their back, it was a long time ago and i still hate that i did that.
3. How did you handle the stress? i didn't let there be too much. i suppose music was an escape when i got REALLY miserable. and a sense of humour.
4. What should I avoid? backstabbing going to music video shoots instead of doing important work due in next day not checking deadlines

1. What would you do to succeed in high school? Try to remember to do things. Get lots of sleep. Have friends that you can count on. Try not to lose papers. Read teachers formatting requirements (like sophomore English faux-MLA format. Heavens...) Learn to prioritize...
2. What do you regret about high school? Not taking band freshman year. Worrying about finals...
3. How did you handle stress? Currently, it's a mix between sleeping with platonic friends and running.
4. What should I avoid? Scary persons who believe that high school is their very own stage Getting swept up in things that aren't horribly important (and flipping out when they don't go well...)

1. What would you do to succeed in high school? Learn which teachers will let you skive and which won't, then do the homework for the teachers who won't. (also learn which lessons you can get to sleep in and which ones you'll get caught) never sit at the back, sit third row from the back, then you will never be noticed. Answer enough questions per week for the teacher to think that your actually contributing, when actually your not 2. What do you regret about high school? Not punching certain people, getting stuck in all girls catholic school, letting people get too me so much, not getting to know certain people sooner. I also wish i had done something horribly re memorable like setting fire to the science labs or something 3. How did you handle the stress? um going out, a lot of people i knew in high school rarely went out except during the day on the weekends, you need a life thats outside of those walls. having friends outside of high school helped too. and bunking whenever possible 4. What should I avoid? taking things to seriously, and getting stuck in a clique, or in a certain group, keep yourself mobile hmm i sound so lazy i actually did quite well in high school

1. What would you do to suceed in highschool?
I worked, but I didn't take it too seriously, which helps.
2. What do you regret about highschool?
I didn't take Art. I really, really regret it.
3. How did you handle the stress? I wasn't ever really stressed, even during exams. I suppose I coped by enjoying my weekends and listening to music.
4. What should I avoid?
getting stressed. Rubbish friends. Procrastination - it's a deal breaker.

I am also cheating. I go back to start my final year next week, boo.
1. What would you do to suceed in highschool?
Just do the work, honestly. When you have a big assignment, actually do the work and hand it in on time. If you need to go to extra classes in your own time, ask your teacher for more work as practise; so it's important to be honest with yourself when you're in over your head.
2. What do you regret about highschool?
That I took Higher Biology - it was basically a waste of a year. I walked away with a B, but the other people in my class weren't in my year group, didn't know me, and pretty much made me miserable for a year. I don't even like biology and didn't want to do anything science related after I left. I was pressured into taking a science by my teachers, though. So don't let them influence you!
3. How did you handle the stress?
Ha, fuck, I don't. For the last three to four months of every school year, I burst into tears randomly, skip most of my classes to sit in the park, double the number of gigs I go to, stop doing homework and do none of my assignments. The only subject I had the dedication to go into every day - and every day during my spare time to finish my project - was Art. I just bunked off the rest or sat in class not concentrating. It makes it all way worse, but I can't help it!
4. What should I avoid?
Skipping every class. Let's be honest here - people who go to every single class and boast about it are really annoying. If you want to skip a class, go for it. It can be surprisingly relaxing, actually. But just try to avoid skipping more than one class a week (this does not count if the skipped subject is Physical Education, in which case, just never go).

How did you handle the stress? um going out, a lot of people i knew in high school rarely went out except during the day on the weekends, you need a life thats outside of those walls. having friends outside of high school helped too. i agree with this. i think i'd say MOST of my life is outside of school, although i think from time to time this is a cause of stress when the 2 lives start battling and i have to find the energy to do everything

Who brags about going to every class? o.O That's an odd accomplishment. I thought it was the other way around that people brag about. But before you skip, find out if your school has the automatic call home program when a student is absent. If your school has it, do not skip.

1. What would you do to suceed in highschool?
I only studied for subjects that weren't too easy, such as maths. Since languages are my strongest point, I'm very weak at mathematics, chemistry etc.
2. What do you regret about highschool?
I should have interracted with my class more. But I never really liked them, only one girl turned out to be very nice company at the end of the year.
3. How did you handle the stress?
What stress? Oh you mustmean the stress I had with maths. I ate. That's about it. Whenever I stress, I eat.
4. What should I avoid?
The snobs. Everybody likes them in highschool but they really are pathetic.

1- Depends on how clever you are. The best thing is to strike a balance. Find the exact minimum of work you can do and still get the grades. Spend the rest of your time fucking around
2- Not finding the above balance. Resulting in epic fail.
3- Avoided things.
4- Getting too wrapped up in studies. The people who I know that do best are intelligent, but still have fun.

1. What would you do to suceed in highschool? try to be disciplined and set up1 - 2 work hours a day, and when that's over do whatever i want to relax.., i skip classes if i want, as long as it doesn't happend everyday, every week, also, hang out with the clever ones - if you have any problems, they'll help you out find friends with a lot of humour, that'll get you through the most and make time go faster
2. What do you regret about highschool? nothing
3. How did you handle the stress? music music music, especially during classes
4. What should I avoid? skipping over things, like thinking 'oh i'll do that essay later' because face it, if you don't do it now, it'll never happen...

2. What do you regret about highschool?
EVERYTHING.
Thats not meant to be a hyperbolic statement. I wish daily that I could wipe those years from my memory Eternal Sunshine style.
When I remember certain things from school I actually get mild tourettes like symptoms and shake and say phares out loud involuntarily.
So yeah.. fun time.

1. What would you do to suceed in highschool? 2. What do you regret about highschool? 3. How did you handle the stress? 4. What should I avoid? 1. I didn't care that much at the time. I did enough to get a B average, but eh. 2. I hated every minute of high school. I was treated horribly, and the people were ridiculous. I liked a few teachers, however. 3. I didn't very well. I just withdrew from participating with any of it. Music helped. 4. In high school? Drugs and drinking. Driving like a maniac. Just be safe and think before you do things. I am probably too late on answering, huh?
