I'd be willing to put money that people that aren't from Toronto can tell if you're from Toronto. Failing that you just have a general Canadian accent.

Ahhh, I adore Michael's voice. I like Clare's voice too. Well seen that it's only the Scottish-based Wolfies who are uploading their voices. COME ON OTHER PEOPLE. LET'S HEAR YOU.
I'll put my voice up soon, I think. haha. I'm not putting up my silly poem though. I'll read something else. Yays.
I VOTE MERYYYYYYYYYYYL. and Sophie! And Joshu has a lovely voice too. *wants to hear*

Joshua says he cannot upload his carelessly cherubic tones upon this thread since he lacks a microphone, and thus it is down to myself and foxy Sophie to explain how deliciously his voice moves us, like soft kisses down the thighs under a weeping willow as the shadows dance upon its branches during the midnight hours of the full moon. His voice sounds like sighs captured in a bottle, when the stopper is momentarily left off and the sound spirals out like smoke, dissipating upon the breeze, so softly that you are touched by it, but do not realise what you encountered.

I'd be willing to put money that people that aren't from Toronto can tell if you're from Toronto. Failing that you just have a general Canadian accent. Not really, unless that person lived a significant part of their life somewhere else in Canada their accent won't be that different. We pretty much all say 'oot', but some areas aren't that noticeable. The west coast, for example. It seems like no one's actually from here.. they just move here from other places. I'm from Southwestern Ontario, and I used to talk like I was from Fargo .. only more of a Scottish/hick influence. When I moved to the States, I hid my accent as best I could so some of it's gone now, but Americans (and my brother who lives in the South) always say "you're so Canadian sounding!" while Canadians generally don't notice. It's hard to notice your native accent when you're from somewhere as large and spread out as Canada, methinks. The only reason I noticed mine was because we moved to Massachusetts, where it's all fast-talkin' and "it was wicked dahk when we pahked the cah and watched tha Sox." I love Boston. I am awesome at making sense.

And Yes I vote for them! No ways. Only when I start talking to my mother and then the Rs go harsh and my syllables elongate and I turn into this transatlantic nightmare. But I don't sound like Kelly O. Ceylan's last post was brilliant. I STILL VOTE CEYLAN.

i had to turn it ALL the way up to hear it verbalvomit, and that's saying something, because i'm on this lovely mac with wonderful sound quality and i get yelled at for having my music to loud when its on only 1 bar. i think i had it on like, 14.
i love all your accents. i'll post mine later this weekend if i can ever figure this thing out.
i wonder what kind of accents you will say i have...

it might be the quality of your microphone, or it could be dying and not picking anything up.
