It does. Mine doesn't either. It sounds right to me, but when I actually hear it via the phone machine or a recording, it sounds terribly wrong.

I have a monotoned voice that almost always sounds either stoned or unimpressed. It's relaxing apparently. I could almost pull off being the strong, contemplative, silent type if I weren't so dorky.

As do I! I like to think that I do some pretty mean impressions of Gullom and Sean Connery... but I don't use them in normal conversation of course. That'd be weird.

I was once in Aberdeen with Boy, and he goes, "yeah, it's so annoying the way you say 'pure' all the time." Aye, safe to say, I was in a mighty strop with him.
