Interesting fact: the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty? Well, call me cynical, but I don't see the joy and beauty of what they're campaigning for, considering that Dove is owned by the company who also own Lynx (AKA Ax), who... Yeah, they use "beautiful" models to advertise a product designed to get "sexy" women to be sexually attracted to you.
You never see a plus-sized woman in a Lynx ad, do you?

Those women are beautiful. I hate advertisers.
I will inform Adbusters about this, because I'd love to read their angry article about it.

Since when are parent companies in complete control of the advertisements of their subsidiaries? And they do both have target audiences. It's just sensible advertising

Strange, as much as I always wanted to LOVE those adverts, I always found them slightly suspicious, and I assumed it was because of the fact it was such an obvious marketing tactic, and not based on any real respect for the variations of womens bodies.

Yep; I've always thought that it was a clever way of capturing the sales of the 47% of British women who are a size 16 or over. Look at her; she's fantastic. She in no way seems to resemble the stick thin, no breasted near nude models and actresses who resemble pre-pubescent boys.

She's only chubby in the arms... But who is into arms anyway? She's beautiful.

I think she's very pretty. Not all men are dumbasses, but some certainly are.

He has nothing but good things to say about you! My brother used to be very big into watching wrestling, and being the impressionable young person that I was, I would watch it with him. Of course, this was years and years ago, when the soap plotline was really quite good. Haha. I was enthralled. I could have cared less about the actual wrestling. AND I LOVED MANKIND SO MUCH. And his sock puppet. Thank you for making my life. Er. Day!
