What a spiffy thread.
I went to a pet cemetery... that's about the weirdest thing I’ve done today. It was depressing.

I bought a zine and a huge box of Swedish matches in a moment of weakness, only to find they came to £4.50 all together (although the zine is incredible, and the matches are very Swedish). I then bought a book about protein-high meat-free diets and a Bach LP from a charity shop for £1 all together. I don't have a vinyl player, I just liked the cover.
I sat on a very expensive in Marks and Spencers, listening to my friend violently vomit up her tasty vegan lunch at an incredible volume. I lent her my expensive and incredibly pretentious art magazine (the sort that's released twice a year at £6 a pop) to make her feel better. She said it worked.
I walked about the Glasgow School of Art and closed my eyes for a moment, pretending my dreams had come true and I'd been accepted for Fine Art Photography. I think tourists thought I was sick.
I walked into a white room, looked through a slot in the wall to see all yellow, yellow lights and mirrors. It was an exhibition in the GSoA degree show, I wasn't high.

It doesn't defy the rule. That only applies to "ie" as a pair; the "c" is separating them and therefore the rule is now defunct. I believe she was referring to "weird," not police. But that would be correct if she was. I am an idiot.

i before e except after c or when sounding like a as in neighbor and weigh
Now, I'm going to say "weird" like it has an A in it, and then it wouldn't defy all logic!

I am an idiot. I didn't catch on to the link/exalt thing for about 24 hours. I was all, "be careful, guys, somehow your links are being changed to exalt Luke!" I know you're not an idiot.

My birthday is in May. I'll have to defy all grammar rules on that day, just because.

My birthday is in May. I'll have to defy all grammar rules on that day, just because. That will ruin it. You will have to speak out of tense. "It will be me birthday". "oh, really? You should tell me when it's coming up. I'll buy you a present" FAAAIIILL
