I did a French assignment about Belgium in grade 10. Most of it was about diamonds. But I loved the photos of it, beautiful

^^ this is obviously not a picture of me but it is the station in Paris that my hotel was located at and every morning (and/or afternoon and/or evening) we would take the metro from here to get to where we were going. I miss it so much, but makes me smile

aaaaow! yeah, when I was in Paris last year, I also HAD to take a picture of the Metropolitan! The way those "entrances" are designed is just sooooo theatrical and dramatic! It's some of the best pieces of urban/industrially manufactured for the masses Art Nouveau you can imagine! ;D

They really are. And every station is so unique and interesting. I loved it. There was always something new to look at. One I really liked was the station called Concorde where each tile was a different letter. It was just cool. No other way to describe it.
